CILICIA, Seleucia ad Calycadnum. Gordian III, with Tranquillina. AD 238-244. Æ (38mm, 26.07 g, 6h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian right, and draped bust of Tranquillina left, wearing stephane, facing one another; c/m: pellet-in-triangle in triangular incuse / Draped bust of Artemis-Tyche right, wearing calathus, and laureate and draped bust of Apollo left, facing one another; cornucopia to outer left, palm frond between, quiver to outer right. SNG Levante 776 var. (same obv. die; rev. legend); SNG France 1035-8 var. (same); SNG Pfalz 1077. For c/m: Howgego 670. VF, green-brown patina, earthen deposits.
